About Me

HOW I BECAME AN EDITOR AND PROOFREADER

I have been a reader my whole life. I remember always being able to spot errors in a book that were missed in the editing and proofreading stages of publication. When I started thinking about this, I realized that I loved the proofreading aspect of getting a book ready for publication. With a background in mathematics, I was trained to be detail oriented and to think critically. I feel that both of these skills, along with a life-long love of reading, benefit me greatly in the proofreading process.

Having completed the Proofread Anywhere program and scoring at least a 90% on the final exam (a passing score is at least 90%), I feel that my skills have been honed in preparation to help you with your manuscript. I look forward to working with you.
